Last month, independent publishers SelfMadeHero released the first in a series of Graphic Biographies: Johnny Cash - I See A Darkness (named after a track and album by Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, re-recorded by Cash for 2000's American III: Solitary Man).

Created by artist Reinhard Kleist, the award-winning novel gloriously depicts The Man In Black's life from his 1956 sessions with Elvis Presley, 1968's infamous Folsom Prison gig, his comeback in the 1990s and the final years before his death in 2003.
