This Charming Band: Johnny Marr joins The Cribbs full-time
Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr likes joining bands; following on from his tenure with Modest Mouse he's now announced that he'll be permanently joining the ranks of The Cribs.
“It´s totally inspiring as a guitar player because they´re my favourite band that I´ve heard in a long time and I´m still a fan, you know,” Marr told BBC 6Music.
The guitarist had already collaborated with the group on new recordings for their fourth album but will now play with them live - including shows at this weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals.
