Universal Audio’s 710 is a single-channel preamp that enables you to switch between tube and solid-state tones (or have a mixture of the two) with a dedicated blending knob.
The new box is aimed at DAW users who want a quality front-end for their system and is said to be suitable for a range of recording applications. It features dual-gain stages, has a metal chassis and is designed and made in the USA.
The 710 will be released in July priced at $999/£598. Further spec details are available on the Universal Audio website.
