Another week, another Spanish Inquisition – this time it’s Rob Zombie axeman John 5. Here’s your chance to ask the questions…

As well as a handful of successful solo albums and his current stint with Rob Zombie, metal guitarist John 5’s playing credits include David Lee Roth (The DLR Band) and Marilyn Manson. John is no stranger to MusicRadar either, take a look at him demonstrating an insane lick that combines sweeping and tapping or this hybrid picking tutorial to see what a nice guy he really is.

To ask a question, simply add one to the comments below (you’ll need to be registered and logged in to do this). We’ll pick the best and ask them during the interview next week. Thanks for all your questions for Paul Gilbert – the full podcast is on its way.

My question is, do you get sick of people asking what gear you use? ;-D

Hey John. My question is what distortion and amp are you using for your tele in your dvd? I have your j5 custom shop bigsby, and I want the sound you're getting. Also, how can I get rid of the humming problem on that guitar? ps- you should do more songs like 2die4. I love the classical sound. Thank you, John.

    Hello there!
I was checking out your official page. Awesome new look! I see you´re pretty busy on touring with clinics round the US. Anyways, I though you said to plan a tour in Europe, after your tours in the US. Would you also plan some clinics in Europe? Round my place itßs not too bad to do some clinics. Aw, maybe you´ll take some time to think about it? ;)

Hi, John I'm a big fan of your work.... I'm really looking forward to Requiem. I have been playing guitar for two years now and I'm thinking about starting a band. But, the guitar I have is, (I'm not afraid to say it) a load of crap.....I would love to cover it in lighter fluid, set it on fire and throw it off a cliff, maybe the one David Lee Roth was climbing in Just Like Paradise......But, my family is on a very tight budget and can't afford to buy a new guitar (not even some Ibanez Mikro....Not that I would get that in the first place) . So, do you think you could help me out and help me get a new better guitar?
