Beastie Boys finish and name new album

The Beastie Boys have revealed that their new album will be called Hot Sauce Committee. This will be the band's first long-player since The Mix-up, an instrumental collection that was released in 2007.

The news was announced via an email to fans, which read: "Our new record that is coming out that we finished the other day is called HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE."

No release date has been confirmed, but if HSC (as it may or may not come to be known) is complete then surely we won't have to wait too long for it.

To celebrate the announcement, The Beastie Boys appeared on Monday's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, joining house band The Roots for an obscenely funky version of So What'cha Want from 1992's Check Your Head. You can watch it below.
