To think, it only took 14 years and a budding UK filmmaker named Jimmy Reay to get Axl Rose and Slash to appear in a video together.
Well, kinda. Reay and his friend Jamie DeBarge both donned costumes to appear as Gun N' Roses members past and present to appear in this video, to the new GN'R' song Chinese Democracy.
In doing so, they created what was deemed as the "craziest, most inappropriate air guitar" homage to Guns N' Roses, which won them the grand prize in a contest.

As winners, the pair will be driven by limousine to the UK premiere public playback of the album and receive VIP treatment along with 100 friends.
Reay will also be presented with a disc to recognise him as the first person to own a copy of Chinese Democracy in the UK.
"The release of Chinese Democracy Air Guitar marks a historic moment in rock 'n' roll," said Jimmy Reay and Jamie DeBarge in a joint statement, "and we're launching it with a monumental video shot in London that matches the groundbreaking sound of the album itself. Guns N' Roses fans have every reason to celebrate, for this is only the beginning."
You mean, there will be more videos from Reay and DeBarge? Well, hey, bring 'em on!
