Matthew Brown wins Young Drummer of the Year
Londoner takes the crown
Matthew Brown has been named Young Drummer of the Year.
The 16-year-old London-based drummer took the title after a hard-fought battle at yesterday's grand final.
Held at Leamington Spa's Royal Spa Centre, the event saw ten drummers (whittled down from 400 entries) each perform in front of a panel of star judges which included Richard Jupp, Robin Guy, Ash Soan and Donavan Hepburn.
