As part of Radio 1´s Live Lounge Tour 2009, DJ Jo Whiley has hit the road to visit the homes of artists and bands who play live from their very own lounges.
Yesterday´s visit saw Jo head to rapper Dizzee Rascal´s humble abode for some stonking live versions of No 1 singles ‘Holiday´ and ‘Bonkers´, on which TG and ‘Guitar Techniques´ contributor and YouTube star Guthrie Govan performed some mean acoustic slide guitar!

In other Guthrie news, Govan and TG´s Senior Music Editor Jason Sidwell will be in Bath during October for a full-on rock guitar teaching weekend.
Held at Bath´s Bailbrook House Hotel, ‘Rock Development - The Essentials´ (17/18 October) will cover modern rock techniques, soloing/riffing approaches, how to sound like your icons and lots of band jamming!
