Boy Quits School To Play Guitar Hero Professionally...
A 16-year-old student from the USA (where else?) has dropped out of high school in order to becoming a professional Guitar Hero player.
Blake Peebles has been perfecting his skills on the video game, and has so far won a number of prizes at an amateur level.
However, with his time freed up, he hopes to enter the world of professional gaming, which can earn players between $25,000 to $80,000 a year (around £13,000 to £40,000).
His parents have apparently hired him a private tutor to continue his studies, but his mother said: "We couldn't take the complaining anymore. He always told me that he thought school was a waste of time".
