Independence Pro is three products in one
Yellow Tools' flagship package now available
Yellow Tools Independence sampling workstation garnered plenty of praise when it was launched, and the second version of it is now shipping in a ‘Pro´ bundle with two other products: Independence Live and Independence FX.
Version 2 of the main Independence app adds some crucial new functionality, including support for multi-core computers and the ability to host third-party plug-ins. It´s fronted by a redesigned interface and comes with a 70GB sound library.
Independence Live is designed for users who want to take Independence to the stage and use it in a performance context. You can load an unlimited number of projects and instantly switch between them, there´s flexible audio and MIDI routing, and you can use any hardware controller.
Finally, Independence FX is a virtual effects rack that contains all the insert and effects from the main Independence 2 application (including Origami, the realtime impulse response processor). It can be used in any suitable host application and features a drag ‘n´ drop browser for quick-and-easy loading of the hundreds of supplied presets.
Independence Pro is Mac- and PC-compatible and costs $499/€449/£299. Find out more at the Yellow Tools website.
