What´s the best piece of advice about music making you´ve ever heard? That was the question posed by MusicThing to its readers, and it´s now published 25 of the 1,100+ responses that it received.

The tips make interesting reading, and might just help to get you back on track if you´ve wandered down a creative cul-de-sac. Some are serious; others less so.

And naturally, there are conflicting opinions. While one poster advises that you should “do something every day”, a number of others feel that it´s better to “play less”.
