White Stripes' Meg White auctioning Ludwig kit

The White Stripes
The White Stripes

Meg White is auctioning a drum kit she used while shooting the video for The White Stripes' The Hardest Button To Button.

The kit - along with a host of other rockstar memorabilia including original Iggy Pop photos - goes under the hammer on 7 February. It's all part of the Jim Shaw Rock 'N' Roll Benefit, proceeds of which go to Jim Shaw (a big name on the Detroit music scene) who is suffering from cancer.

You can view the kit at Cpop in Detroit, or keep an eye on the Benefit's MySpace page for online bidding details.

Ludwig Accent

Details about Meg's drums are on the slim side, but eager eyes tell us it's a Ludwig Accent Series Kit, Accent snare and classic Ludwig bass drum pedal.
