Taylor T5 signed by David Gilmour to be auctioned
has taken time out of a recent recording session at his West London studio to sign a guitar for a charity auction. The guitar, a Taylor T5 spruce top in Cherry sunburst, will be auctioned on 3 March 2007 at the Willow Foundation´s gala ball. All profits will go to the Foundation, which funds and organises special days for seriously ill young adults aged 16-40.
Gilmour was introduced to the Foundation by Sound Technology PLC, the exclusive UK distributor of Taylor. Sound Technology has also previously donated a signed Robbie Williams guitar that raised £20,000 at auction.
