Julian was born in 2004. Does anyone else feel old?

Julian Pavone is an exceptionally good drummer and he's only four-years-old. He's so young that the words 'World's Youngest Drummer!'® sit next to his name whenever it appears in print. Videos of the phenomenon first surfaced two years ago, and now, Pavone is making history as the youngest performer to grace the stage of Whiskey A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.

On 27 October, The Julian Pavone Band will join Whiskey A Go-Go's impressive legacy of performing acts including Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Guns N' Roses. We're guessing Pavone's rider differs slightly to that of Slash's in the 1980s. Milk and cookies, anyone?

Julian must also be the youngest fully endorsed drummer having already signed to Innovation Drum, Sabian, Vic Firth and ddrum. He's fussy too: unless that's a Remo drum skin, he's not interested.

Take a look at Julian at two-years-old, three-years-old and covering Journey with his current band at four-years-old. A Michael J Powell-produced debut album is already in the pipeline, too. There's nothing like starting young…
