Pumpkin smashing

A Smashing Pumpkins tribute album is set for release, for free via Myspace Records. The principle is that every band involved will make their contribution available via their Myspace page on 14 May.
Despite reports to the contrary, My Chemical Romance’s management have denied that they are involved, but bands definitely onboard include Deftones, who will be tackling Siva, The Bravery, who will be covering Rocket, and Panic! At The Disco, who will be recording a version of Tonight Tonight; a scary prospect?
