Correction: Stevie Wonder's house still standing
Wildfire rumour got out of control
We reported yesterday that Stevie Wonder's Los Angeles residence had been destroyed by fire. However, it now seems that, thankfully, this isn't the case.
Wildfires have been raging in the area, and have reportedly destroyed 19 homes. However, according to a statement released by the singer, his isn't one of them.
It reads: "I'm grateful to say that my house was not burnt down in the fire. I extend my sympathies to anyone who may have been touched by this horrendous event."
According to the BBC, Wonder's spokeswoman Shelley Selover has also said that his house isn't even in the fire-hit area.
