Hardcore guitar effects from Image Line
10 stompboxes in one plug-in
Hardcore is a new suite of stompbox-style guitar effects from FL Studio developer Image Line.
The bundle comprises ten effects: Distortion; Chorus; Flanger; Phaser; Reverb; Delay; Noise Gate; Equalizer; Compression; and Modulator. Up to five of these can be arranged in any order on the Hardcore pedal board.
After your audio signal has passed through the stompboxes, it can be further treated by an 8-band graphic EQ and cabinet simulator.
Hardcore is the brainchild of developer Maxx Claster, whose previous credits include the Toxic, PoiZone and Morphine synths. "When I started Hardcore the idea was to fill the 'distortion' guitar plug-in gap in the Image Line FX suite, but it turned into a much bigger and exciting project," explains Maxx.
Hardcore is available now for Mac and PC in the FL Studio, VST and Audio Units plug-in formats. It costs $79 and can be ordered from the Image Line web store.
You should also note that anyone who orders one of Image Line's other software products before the end of October will receive a free copy of Hardcore.
