Fender takes sonic innovation to new heights with the American Acoustasonic Series Telecaster

Enter the next era in Fender craftmanship and innovation

Since the release of the Telecaster back in 1950, Fender has been synonymous with innovation, and its new American Acoustasonic Series Telecaster is the latest example of the company’s insatiable desire to drive the guitar forward.

Handcrafted in Corona, California, the American Acoustasonic Series Telecaster is the result of three years of research and development, and combines shape-shifting acoustic sounds with bold electric tones.

This bold, trailblazing hybrid acoustic/electric is designed for fearless artists seeking an inspiring instrument with a diverse set of textures while still possessing Fender’s signature playing feel.

There’s no longer any need to switch guitars during a live performance or lean on a second guitarist, as the Acoustasonic Telecaster covers all sonic bases and eliminates the challenges of playing live by cutting out feedback.

Fender’s patent-pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System is the key to the guitar’s versatile tones, delivering a naturally loud voice with lively harmonics in combination with the Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine.

The groundbreaking Acoustic Engine blends classic analogue and future technologies to optimise the guitar’s natural sound and modify the resonance to deliver a range of acoustic and electric voices, all of which can be blended together via the Mod Knob to create new sounds.

This is a comfortable guitar to perform with, too: there’s an integrated forearm contour, while a smooth-playing mahogany neck and open-pore satin finish - available in Natural, Black, Sonic Gray, Surf Green and Sunburst - add to the ease of playability.

The Acoustasonic Telecaster is like having 10 guitars in one, all with the feel and familiarity of an iconic Fender design, paying homage to the past while taking the instrument into the present, and paving the way for the daring, innovative artists of the future.
