Creating your first patch with the Boss GX-100

So, you've read the review, looked for the best deals and decided that the Boss GX-100 multi-effects processor is for you. Now that you have your brand new pedalboard, it is probably a good time to get under the hood and start creating your own patches and effects chains.

While the factory presets are great and offer so much choice for practically every guitaring scenario, there’s really nothing like crafting your own and making the GX-100 truly your own.

The GX-100 is the first foray into the world of touchscreen control for Boss and creating or modifying patches is super easy. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that you’ll not need to reach for the manual too often.

To make things even easier for you, we’ve got an easy guide showing you how easy it is to navigate the interface, add effects and amp models, create new signal chains, save and store presets and customise the stomp buttons.

Check out the video above as we go through creating your first patch from scratch.
