NAMM 2012: Two Tama Mike Portnoy snare drums announced
Tweaked signature models revealed

Tama is set to unveil two new updated Mike Portnoy signature snares.
The first of the two steel snares is a 12"x5" drum featuring a new ambigram badge that rather coolly reads Mike Portnoy even when turned upside-down. Stylish.
Also on the way is a14"x5.5" version of Portnoy's signature snare featuring a matte black finish and new badge.
A new Portnoy maple snare is also on the way later this year, with details still to be announced.
