As you probably know by now, Propellerhead Software today announced Record, a brand new application that will sit alongside Reason and ReCycle in its impressive product line.

However, those who attended one of Propellerhead's Producer Conferences on Saturday were lucky enough be treated to an exclusive preview of the new software.

MusicRadar went along to the UK event in Guildford and, immediately after he'd presented Record to an ecstatic audience, Propellerhead's Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Tim Self sat down for a chat with us.

We also captured the thoughts of producer, DJ and musician A Guy Called Gerald, a big Reason fan who seemed just as excited at the prospect of Record as everyone else.

Special thanks to Sound Technology and ACM for their help on the day.

are people forgetting the classic Propellerhead app that is REBIRTH? I hope that this also supports it, it would make it a superb app if it does:)
