Electric Ladyland has been voted Jimi Hendrix's greatest album

As part of MusicRadar's recent Jimi Hendrix Week, we asked MusicRadar users to vote for the greatest of his albums released in his lifetime.

As Jimi Hendrix Week was marking the 40th anniversary of the release of Electric Ladyland, perhaps the result is no surprise.

Over 600 fans cast their vote, and the results are as follows:

Electric Ladyland was Hendrix's final studio album, released 40 years ago in October 1968.
