Get the Biffy sound with Simon Neil and James Johnston´s Squier guitar and bass
When we started to hear whispers about Biffy Clyro´s new Squier signatures, we got straight on the blower to Fender (www.fender.co.uk/01342 331700) and secured one of each to give away to two winners.
Both guitars - Squier Simon Neil Stratocaster and Squier James Johnston Jazz Bass - are based on Squier´s massively popular Classic Vibe series.
Since the band´s 2007 breakthrough album, 'Puzzle', Simon Neil has sent thousands of jaws floor-wards with his unnatural knack for making a singlecoil-loaded Strat sound like a bomb going off.
His Squier signature means you can do the same - and four-stringers can join the party, too.
James Johnston´s Squier Jazz Bass is derived from his USA model, complete with a Lake Placid Blue paint job and matching headstock.
Both guitars feature the band´s logo on the front of the headstock, with their respective signatures printed on the back, and a number of other cool appointments like aged-looking tinted necks and mint green scratchplates.
