Who is Soundtoys?
RECORDING WEEK 2023: Soundtoys was founded in 1996 by the the same engineering team behind the legendary Eventide H3000 Ultra-Harmonizer and DSP4000 line of signal processors. They used their extensive engineering knowledge to create Soundtoys, a music production plugin company dedicated to bringing colour, character, and creativity to the world of digital audio.
Designing audio processing plugin classics such as EchoBoy, Decapitator, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, and Devil-Loc Deluxe, Soundtoys is at the forefront of creative professional audio effects, with a long list of professional mixers, sound designers, producers, and artists using and relying on its products daily.

About SuperPlate
SuperPlate is Sountoys' latest reverb plugin and newest addition to Soundtoys 5. SuperPlate includes vintage emulations of original hardware plate reverbs including an EMT 140, EMT 240, Audicon, EcoPlate III, and Stocktronics RX4000.
SuperPlate was largely developed because Soundtoys owns some of the legendary reverbs and simply wanted to bring the distinctive sound of this collection into the world of modern audio.
