GUITAR SHOWCASE 2022: With live music returning to stages around the world, music lovers finally have an excuse to slip out of their pyjamas and into something a little sharper.
Fortunately, Rotosound – famous for their Swing Bass 66 and Rotos guitar strings used by rock royalty for over 60 years – has just unveiled a new selection of merchandise.
The collection includes t-shirts, hats, and lifestyle products featuring the brand’s classic logo that has been in use since bands such as The Who strung up with Rotosound in the 1960s.
New additions to the range include an embroidered beanie hat (opens in new tab) made from 100% recycled polyester – perfect for playing outdoor stages – plus a handy aluminium water bottle (opens in new tab) and a super-practical musicians’ shoulder bag.
The Rotosound Shoulder Bag (opens in new tab) combines a rugged, water-resistant CORDURA® outer and densely padded interior, multiple compartments, and a reversible padded shoulder strap, all finished to the highest standard.
Large enough to fit pedals, cables, and other musical essentials, there is even a padded inner pocket for laptops or tablets, and a handy keyring holder so you can load out from the gig without having to rummage for the van keys first!
If your studio or rehearsal space is in need of some retro decor then Rotosound’s new art prints (opens in new tab) will add plenty of vintage vibe to your walls.
Inspired by classic advertisements from Rotosound’s archive, these high-quality reproductions are printed on A2 premium heavyweight paper stock and are a hip nod to Rotosound’s heritage.
The designs also draw from Rotosound’s close connection to era-defining music such as psychedelia and grunge, as exemplified in the line of bucket hats (opens in new tab), which are available in multiple colours and sizes. Rotosound explains:
“Everyone at Rotosound HQ is in love with our new bucket hats; a throwback to the nineties when Rotosound players from Brit Pop and Madchester wouldn’t be seen without one. Bucket hats have made a big comeback recently and festival crowds are awash with them.”
There are new t-shirts too with unisex designs to suit lovers of simplicity as well as psychedelia, all made from heavy 100% cotton. And for those who still fancy staying in with a cup of tea there are brand new Rotosound mugs (opens in new tab) featuring a retro-flavoured logo – put the kettle on!
All merchandise is available to buy direct from rotosound.com (opens in new tab) and from official dealers worldwide.
