KV331 Audio, the makers of SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster Player, have announced a major update to their family of software synthesizers that has added support for Native Instruments’ Native Kontrol Standard, or NKS. 

Thanks to NKS, each of these phenomenal instruments is now seamlessly integrated with Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware and software, enabling users to quickly discover the sounds they’re looking for, making it easier for fans of Native Instruments’ gear to incorporate KV331 Audio’s products into their workflow. KV331 Audio’s flagship software synthesizer is a highly versatile, semi-modular all-rounder that draws from an impressive range of different synthesis methods to generate sound including Virtual Analogue, Additive, Wavetable, Phase Modulation, Frequency Modulation (FM), Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), Physical Modelling and Sample Playback synthesis. SynthMaster Player is the ROMpler or preset player version of SynthMaster 2. This allows you to enjoy SynthMaster 2’s extensive preset library of pre-made sounds designed by world-class sound designers, while offering limited editing features and sound manipulation capabilities. SynthMaster Player can also make use of the 36 preset expansion packs available for purchase on KV331 Audio’s website.

Perfect for beginners or those with less demanding sound design applications in mind, SynthMaster One is a wavetable synthesizer that’s easy to use with a simple and efficient workflow. Sharing the same fundamental sound engine as SynthMaster 2 and offering VA, AM, FM, RM and wavetable synthesis types, it benefits from a simplified interface with just a single layer and single-screen architecture. This user-friendly layout, coupled with SynthMaster One’s diverse selection of waveforms, 11 types of effects, and 1200 factory presets, makes sound design not only more fun, but more accessible too.
