Line 6 has cut quite a swathe through the musical instrument market since its launch in 1996. The first product off its production line was the AxSys 212, the world's first digital modelling guitar amplifier.
Line 6's fortunes snowballed in the early 2000s, when it launched the POD product line, which isolated modelling circuitry from the AxSys range. Recent developments of this technology include the POD X3 and POD HD.
The comprehensive range of Line 6 products now includes the popular series of Spider modelling amps, the DT50, James Tyler Variax guitars and popular stompboxes such as the DL4 delay.
