Step up your creative workflow with Audiomodern’s random sequence generator, Playbeat

By Advertorial

Get into the groove

When the creative block strikes it can feel like there’s no way out and you find yourself scratching around to find that all-elusive creative spark. It can be quite an infuriating period for some producers, but there’s a new instrument that can help you out in your hour of need.

No strangers to creating inspirational tools and instruments, Audiomodern brings us Playbeat, a groove randomiser that can generate beats and patterns for you at the touch of a button, giving you the perfect building blocks to progress your productions.

Playbeat isn’t your average sequencer though, with one press of the Random button, the plugin randomly generates pattern sequences. The algorithm behind the randomisation combines steps, volume, pitch, volume among other parameters to create new patterns.

By loading in your own sounds Playbeat can generate up to four patterns simultaneously to create polyrhythms and the real bonus is that you can generate as many patterns as you want and never get the same one twice.

Playbeat is a truly multi-platform device available in VST/VST3/AU/AAX and iOS formats and available from Audiomodern at a price of $49/€49/£44.
