A new name in drumming innovation

A new name in drumming innovation

Unsurprisingly for a company with the mantra, ‘innovation for better sound’ MANIC DRUM is constantly striving for the absolute finest quality.

Nowhere is this more evident than in MANIC’s brand new top-of-the-line limited retro series. Here, we can see that not only is MANIC at the forefront of a bight new future of drumming, but it is also tipping its hat to the masterful drums of the past. The result is a series that is packed with innovation, yet also bathed in the warm glow of vintage gear. This is a line that expertly combines cutting-edge technology with the much-loved feel of yesteryear.

This series of kits is absolutely packed with incredible features. The stainless steel and aluminum System OneTM hardware found on MANIC’s drums allow total control from the player over their sound and performance. Meanwhile, the Hoop OneTM hoops feature micro-resonant chambers below the segments, again putting tone at the forefront.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s also a wealth of neat innovations to make the drummer’s life easier. Ever needed to make a change to your kit in a hurry? Mid-gig adjustments made while your singer introduces the next song, perhaps? MANIC has taken the stress out of such situations by introducing Lug OneTM lugs for fast pitch shifting and ultra-fast drum head changing. Plus, there’s Carrier OneTM tom mounts which allow you to swiftly detach your toms and floor tom legs, with the latter being particularly welcome for those post-gig and rehearsal gear breakdowns. In a nutshell, drum maintenance has never been so straight-forward.

Coming onto the shells - all of MANIC’s drums are precisely crafted from first class, locally-sourced solid wood.

These drums are methodically constructed with the help of what the company itself describes as its team of ‘wood wizards, mechanical engineers, graphic designers and meticulous construction staff.’

All of these experts and features add up to a unique offering of snares and kits which offer a vast range of tonal modification - we’re talking everything from lush vintage to spectacular modern, hard rock to smooth jazz and plenty more in between.

Given that MANIC’s kits are custom configured you’d expect - with good reason given the number of man hours that go into producing each and every drum - that you’ll be sat on a lengthy waiting list one your order is made. Nope!

The company boasts one of the fastest turnaround times in the business, with customers usually getting their hands on their product within 60 days of placing an order. Style, substance and speed - what’s not to love?

It’s another big tick on the customer service front, as MANIC places the utmost importance on taking care of those who play their kits. There are even individual consultations which enable customers to understand the process behind the building of their drums. You see, when buying MANIC drums you’re not just buying a new kit, you’re joining a community.
