Metal for the masses: reformed At The Gates confirmed for UK's Bloodstock festival
The festival at Catton Hall in Derby has also confirmed that black metallers Dimmu Borgir and pagan metallers Moonsorrow will also appear at the three day bash between 15th and 17th August.
At The Gates split in 1996 and its members have since found success with various bands including The Haunted, Cradle Of Filth and The Crown. In 1995 they released the seminal Slaughter Of The Soul album – regarded as one of the finest heavy metal albums of all time and held up as the pinnacle of the influential 'Gothenburg sound' of melodic death metal also pioneered by In Flames and Dark Tranquillity.
