Ignoring the few minor gripes, this is a reliable, affordable piece of drum hardware

Big Dog has a history of providing chunky, reliable and affordable hardware, and this stand is exactly that. With many of the same features as the Gibraltar's 6607 model, including twist tension adjustment and substantial rubber feet, this is a tough model that represents great value for money.
The 'dog bone'-shaped wingnuts might not appeal to all, and we noticed some lateral movement on the striking blue footboard at the linkage with the wide chain drive, but the overall feel was not hindered.
Minor footboard movement only slightly lets down what is, overall, a decent stand.

Good value for money. Chunky and tough.
The unique wingnuts might not be to everyone's taste.
