The No.1 website for musicians

You could win a place at the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in a new competition to be judged by million-selling singer/songwriter Amy MacDonald.

First prize in the 2009 Shure Creative Award, in association with Shure, is a place on the fantastic one-year Professional Diploma In Songwriting course at the ICMP, Europe’s leading school of modern music, worth over £5,000!
If you are a singer/songwriter looking to emulate Amy (and last year's judge KT Tunstall) you need to upload an original song to the award website before 17 April.
A combination of an expert panel of judges plus public voting will select a Top 10, and then Amy will pick the overall winner.
Amy’s critically acclaimed self-penned debut album, ‘This Is The Life’, went to No 1, selling over two million copies and knocking Radiohead off the top spot. Check a future issue of TG for an in-depth interview with Amy.
