Remember we told you about the forthcoming Johnny Cash Remixed album last month? Well, the chaps over at ACIDplanet are now giving you the chance to remix one of the great man's songs in a new contest.

This is being run in collaboration with Compadre Records, the company releasing the aforementioned record, and requires you to put your own spin on Cash's Cry, Cry, Cry. It seems that entries have to be produced in Sony's ACID software - if you don't own it, you can download the free Xpress version from the ACIDplanet website.

You have until October 5 to get your entry in, and the grand prize winner will take home copies of ACID Pro and Vegas Pro, ten loop libraries, a Sony PS3 and various other goodies.
