New plug-in bundle promises a vintage British sound

The best of British? Quite possibly.

Nomad Factory has taken the wraps of the British Bundle, a set of two plug-ins that emulates classic hardware compressor/limiter and EQ models from Neve.

Leading the way is the British MCL-2269, a master compressor/limiter that's based on the Neve 2254. Designed to give you that warm analogue sound, this features separate compressor and limiter sections, input and output level controls, a phase reverse switch and vintage gain reduction VU meters.

The British NEQ-1972, meanwhile, is a four-band EQ. Offering low- and high-pass options, this takes its inspiration from Neve's 1081 EQ and delivers +/- 18dB of gain. The plug-in promises to add "exceptional tone and character" to your music.

The British Bundle will be available from 1 December priced at $299. It's Mac- and PC-compatible and supports the VST, AU and RTAS plug-in formats.
