The Tommy Lee/ Motley Crue situation has become like a soap opera of late. Reports have suggested that Tommy has quit the band, whilst others say he definitely still a member. The latest individual to refute claims that Tommy is out of the band is Crue frontman Vince Neil, who was interviewed by MTV News last week.
"Well, see what happens is, there's a press release saying that Tommy was out of the band and everybody jumped on that," says Neil. "But when Tommy issued his own press release saying that 'no', nobody paid attention to him. So, he was never out of the band and actually I just talked to him yesterday and I talked to Nikki (Sixx, Cruw bassist) a couple of days ago and we're going to go into the studio in January and hopefully have a single out by March and a tour in June."
Neil suggested that the new album will be called "The Dirt" and hopes each song on the disc will tell a story from their lives. But, in his own words he also said, "Who knows, in two weeks we'll change the title."
