Although unfinished versions had been popping up online late last year, what is reported to be Eminem's new single, Crack A Bottle, has just emerged - the finished version, we should add.
The song is set to appear on Eminem's forthcoming album Relapse, which is likely to be released in the early part of this year.
Unfinished versions of the song featured scratch vocals by Eminem, rapping lyrics that would later be performed by producer Dr. Dre. But the completed track finds Em, Dre and even 50 Cent turning in enthusiastic star turns.
Em annoyed at early leaks
"It's like someone catches you before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up!" Eminem, on unfinished tracks hitting the web
When the first incarnation of Crack A Bottle appeared online, Eminem was dismayed. "It wasn't close to finished," he said in an interview, "and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down. It's like someone catches you before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up!"
From the sounds of the completed cut, which you can hear below, Eminem's all suited up and ready to save civilization. Or something like that.
