MeldaProduction's MDrummer 2 Large is described as "not just a sampler, not just a synthesizer and not just a loop player". In fact, it purports to be a software instrument for all rhythmic seasons.

Featuring 5GB of multisamples from two drum kits, MDrummer 2 Large certainly isn't messing about. It also comes with in excess of 12,000 loops.

Other key features include the Rhythm generator, which enables you to construct complete drum parts quickly, and an effects section.

MDrummer 2 Large is Windows-compatible and runs standalone or as a VST plug-in. It's available now for the introductory price of €119 - this will apply until October 25 2008, though a maximum of 1,000 customers can take up the offer.
