Digidesign have updated all configurations of their Pro Tools software (HD, LE and M-Powered) to version 7.4. This latest release adds several new features and enhancements.

The most notable addition is a new tool called Elastic Time. This enables users to chance the tempo and timing of audio files in real-time - imported files now automatically sync with your session's current tempo. Elastic Time can also be used to quantise audio to the session grid or extracted grooves.

Other new features give Pro Tools improved networking compatibility and add support for HD video workflows.

The Pro Tools 7.4 update is available now for Mac and PC. For more information - including full pricing details - click here.
