Torsion might look like a typical analogue-style monosynth - albeit one with the distinctive Sinevibes styling -but with itsits deep modulation setup, versatile additive oscillators and nifty Chaos oscillator, it has more than a hint of individuality. Version 2 added distortion and delay effects into the mix, too.
Just like everything else in the Sinevibes catalogue, Torsion is focused, quirky, surprisingly intuitive and genuinely different. It's perhaps not the most flexible synth in the world, but it sounds ace, particularly when put to work on "character" basses, leads and effects. Think 'analogue with a digital edge' and you're on the right lines.4 Stars
