Sex Pistols Plan New Tunes

The Sex Pistols want to record their first new material in 30 years after the success of their recent reunion tour

The Sex Pistols want to record their first new material in 30 years after the success of their recent reunion tour.

The punk legends have been inspired to record the new songs that were so well received by fans on their November live dates.

Johnny Rotten, Glen Matlock, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook hope to start recording their new material in the first half of this year, and the results could be showcased at the Isle of Wight Festival in June.

Drummer Paul Cook said, "There's talk of new material. The only problem is that it's a bit hard to work on anything as John and Steve are in America and Glen and I are in the UK. So, it's a case of finding the time to get together. We might not pull together an album but hopefully there will be some new stuff in time for the summer."
