Jason Bowld to head up BIMM Night Of Drums in Bristol

Ever been to a drum clinic on a boat? Now's your chance to catch some of the UK's finest rock and metal drummers laying down the beats on board Bristol's finest sea-faring venue - The Thekla.

Jason Bowld (Pitchshifter/This Is Menace), Craig Blundell (Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden) and James Hester (Malakai) have been lined up celebrate the launch of the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music on Sunday 20 April, and entry is completely free!

The show will also see drummers from a whole host of bands turning out in support including: Neil Cooper (Therapy) and Kieron Pepper (ex Prodigy), and drum tuning guru Martin Ranscombe will also be on hand to field your questions. To top it all off Mapex will be giving away hundreds of pounds worth of drums ‘free’!
