As if the draw of gleaming drum gear and the killer Drummer Live line-up aren't enough we've been informed of a few more reasons why you need to get yourself down to the ExCel Centre, Docklands, on the weekend of 11-14 June for the London International Music Show:
Clem Burke Drumming Project featuring Primal Scream’s Darrin Mooney
We have covered Clem Burke's fascinating research into the health benefits of drumming in the magazine on a number of occasions. At the show you will have the chance to see Primal Scream’s drummer Darrin Mooney put through an incremental drumming test to exhaustion whilst wearing the latest ‘state-of-the-art’ sports science technology. You can catch the experiment live if you head to the show on Friday 12 June.
Tech Music School to hold free lessons
The Tech Music Schools - which is made up of Drumtech, Guitar-X, Bass Guitar-X, Vocaltech and Keyboardtech - will be holding free classes over the course of the LIMS show. They will be holding the classes in four purpose-built teaching booths. The booths will be equipped with everything you need, so just sign-up, turn up and then learn!
The classes will take place in small groups taught by some of the top tutors in the UK from the Tech Music Schools. For more information about signing up for the classes you should either visit them on stand F1 or at the Educational Village M46 to M49.
