Slash is a doll - literally
Scores of women across the globe would agree that Slash is quite a doll. And now guys can share that very same sentiment, thanks to the new Slash Guitar Hero doll - oh, wait, 'action figure,' that's more like it.
From Spawn.com, the home of McFarlane Toys, the Slash Guitar Hero action figure, coming in February 2009, is just the thing to rock your bookcase, TV screen, bathroom, amp, car dashboard - wherever you put him, he brings the 'tude.
Pretty cool-looking, huh? The Slash Guitar Hero figure measures 11 inches at the top of his hat. And you can twist him in a variety of extreme rock poses, as there's articulation at the neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles. We don't know if he has a kung fu grip, but that's besides the point. The figure includes a guitar and stands atop a 5 by 3 1/2-inch deep Guitar Hero logo base.
Slash as a little doll
This isn't the first time Slash has been immortalized as an action figure. In 2005, McFarlane Toys issued the Slash Boxed Set, a six-inch version of the Velvet Revolver and onetime Guns N' Roses guitarist in classic stance that included a Les Paul guitar, two Marshall amp and speaker cabinets and a larger stage-style base. You can still order it too.
So collect 'em, trade 'em with your friends. Rock out with little Slash. He'll be your new BFF.
