Smith’s Prophet 08 is very highly regarded by many of you but, at £1,500, it’s hardly what you’d call affordable. The Mopho, however, comes at a bargain price; it basically contains a single channel of Prophet 08 analogue goodness but also throws in sub-oscillators for some extra grunt.

The Keyboard version adds not just two-and-a-half octaves of playability, but also an improved interface.
