Step 4: Activate Osc 3, set it to Digital with a triangle Waveform (drag the slider beneath the waveform, so that it’s not mixed with any sine). Reduce the Release in the Amplitude Env section. Slow LFO1’s Frequency down to about 2.

I spent half an hour making this tutorial... to get a very flat sounding piece of supposedly bass sound, even with some serious fattening and limiting this patch doesn't really come anywhere near a noisia kind of bass... sorry dudes, love the magazine, but this was a waste of time!
