The Sex Pistols have bowed to technology and re-recorded their classic song 'Anarchy in the UK' for the upcoming "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" video game. It was the first time singer John Lydon, guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook had been in the studio together since the late 1970s.
Punk's original hell-raisers recorded the track recently in London and may have tracked more... The band will also play three nights at London's Brixton Academy from 8th November with Guitar Hero III sponsoring the first show.
Next month marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the Pistols' debut, 'Never Mind the Bollocks.'
