Pick Your Favourite Tracks for Motown's 50th Birthday

Universal Music is celebrating the 50th anniversary of American record label and and global music icon Motown by releasing a 50 track compilation album on December 1st - and wants YOU to pick the tracklisting.


With the British nation’s endless love for Motown, Universal is inviting the public to vote for their favourite Motown tracks and the album will be compiled purely from the top 50 tracks chosen by them.


You can select your Top 5 Motown songs from this database. So far The Feeling, Alison Moyet, Fred Deacon, Robert Smith and Seasick Steve have all voted for their top 5 – so why not vote for yours?


The Motown Sound went worldwide in the ’60s, and that sound still resonates today. With more than 180 No.1 songs and counting, Motown hits continue to appear in commercials, TV series and movies, and remain a massive influence on today’s biggest pop and R&B stars.
