Ben Harper Brings New Band To UK

Acoustic legend Ben Harper is bringing his new band Relentless7 to the UK this week for the first time.

To celebrate their new record 'White Lies For Dark Times' (out 27 April on Virgin) Ben & crew will be playing the Kentish Town Forum in London this Sunday night (19 April), before embarking on a US tour and returning to the UK for the Hard Rock Calling Festival on 27 June.

Relentless7 fuse hard rock and Delta Blues coupled with Harper's incredible vocals in an energetic live show. Harper met guitarist Jason Mozersky in the late nineties and recently invited him to lay down guitar work on a track during the recording sessions that would become a double record entitled 'Both Sides of the Gun.'

Mozersky brought along bass player Jesse Ingalls and drummer Jordan Richardson and the session would spawn not only the song 'Serve Your Soul' but the framework for Relentless7.
