Chris 'Daddy' Dave Trio to perform at Charlie Wright's

Renowned r'n'b drummer Chris 'Daddy' Dave and his Trio featuring Gary Thomas (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin) on saxophone and flute and Foley (Miles Davis, Bootsy Collins, Prince) on bass will be performing for three nights on 11, 12 and 13 February at Charlie Wright's International in London.

With over 15 years of influential playing Chris Dave has been around the world and back including world tours with Janet Jackson, Mint Condition and Erykah Badu as well as recording and performing with iconic artists such as: Kenny Garrett, Terrence Blanchard, Wynton Marsalis, Pat Metheny, Meshell N'Degeocello, Robert Glasper, Nicolas Payton, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, A Tribe Called Quest, Dolly Parton, Dianne Reeves, and Yolanda Adams...

One of the many projects Chris is currently involved with is a group called The Foundation. Having just released their debut album, The Foundation is a live hip-hop band consisting of his "family and friends from H-Town." They receive over 2.5 million hits monthly on OkayPlayer.com. Naturally, the purpose and motivation behind it is their uncanny love for hip-hop and true "freedom of expression." The project just released their self-titled debut on iTunes featuring special guests: Bilal, Stokely (Mint Condition), Meshell N'degeocello, PZ, Sa Ra, Tanya Morgan, Strangefruit Project, and Soulfruit.

Tickets for the shows are £12.50 in advance from the venue or by calling Ticketweb on 0844 477 1000 or visiting www.ticketweb.co.uk / www.wegottickets.com
