My bands and projects: Soznak; Soznak is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and named after a middle eastern scale. Soznak plays rhythmic dance music from all over the world.; Pe Na Rua; Another group based in newcastle consisting of percussion, vocals, dancers and capoeira playing brazilian carnival music heavily influenced by groups such as Olodum, Ile Aiye and Swing Do Pelo.; Afro-Cuban project; not got a name for this one just yet but this is 6 piece afro-cuban and afro-peruvian band with percussion and vocals.
